The Lazy Vine Lakehouse is a brand new Olson-Kundig designed home that sits on a small lake nestled into the beautiful Cave B Winery vineyards. This modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with an additional murphy bed sleeps up to six. The location is perfect for concert goers, hikers and wine lovers alike. Take a walk or hike around the winery property, or simply relax at the home while sitting around the large gas fire bowl and soaking in the tranquil lake view.

The space:

In the fully stocked kitchen, you’ll find Kitchen Aid appliances including a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, wine fridge, and dishwasher. Additional appliances include a Cuisinart drip coffee/K-cup combo machine (coffee pods included), Le Creuset tea pot (tea included), Ninja blender, and toaster. In the living area, enjoy the 70” smart TV or sync the music of your choice to the Samsung soundbar. There is A/C throughout the home with both bedrooms having their own thermostats. In the cooler months, cozy up on the couch to the warmth of the gas fireplace which turns on from the touch of a button with the remote. All main windows have rolling privacy blinds. Both bedrooms are furnished with king beds, a 55” smart TV, room darkening blinds, and a white noise sound machine if desired. Other amenities include a full-sized washer/dryer, steamer for your clothes, and a Wallbox universal EV car charger.

The back patio sits steps from the lake with plenty of seating for your group, an electric BBQ and large gas fire bowl. Beach towels,. The lake is man-made and lined. It is used to irrigate the vineyards and is refilled as needed with fresh well water. The lake is NOT open for water activities or swimming.

The home is walking distance to the Gorge Amphitheater, Cave B Winery Tasting Room, Tendril’s Restaurant, Sagecliffe Resort and Spa, and nearby hiking trails. Whichever adventure you choose during your stay will be accompanied by expansive views of the vineyards, Columbia River or the sun-drenched canyons.

Other things to note:

It can get windy in the area especially in the evenings. Please take care to secure towels, personal belongings, furniture cushions, etc. before turning in for the evening.
